Please read these Terms carefully before using the IDVerif platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or accessing the IDVerif platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free and paid account holders.
2. Description of Service
IDVerif provides AI-powered identity and business verification services via a web dashboard and REST API. The Service uses document analysis, biometric comparison, and web intelligence to assess the validity of submitted identity and business information. Verification results are advisory and do not constitute legal determinations.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to verify identities without lawful basis or user consent, to attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent security measures, to submit fraudulent or fabricated identity documents, or to resell access to the Service without prior written consent from IDVerif.
5. Free Tier Limitations
Free accounts are limited to 50 identity verifications per calendar month and a maximum of 2 active API keys. IDVerif reserves the right to modify these limits at any time. Exceeding limits may result in temporary suspension of the affected functionality until the next billing cycle.
6. Data and Privacy
By submitting identity documents and personal data to the Service, you confirm you have obtained all necessary consents from the individuals whose data is being processed. IDVerif processes this data solely to provide the verification Service and does not sell personal data to third parties. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and software associated with IDVerif are the exclusive property of IDVerif and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for its intended purpose.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IDVERIF DOES NOT WARRANT THAT VERIFICATION RESULTS ARE 100% ACCURATE OR FREE FROM ERROR. IN NO EVENT SHALL IDVERIF BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
9. Termination
IDVerif reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any conduct that IDVerif determines, in its sole discretion, to be harmful to the platform or other users. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support.
10. Changes to Terms
IDVerif may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notice.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, as applicable.
